Terms of Use

Last updated 14 September 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website, operated by Emanatio (Pty) Ltd (“Emanatio”, “we”, “us”), a digital studio based in Johannesburg, South Africa. By using this site, you agree to them. They do not apply to any separate written agreement we sign with you for client work; where the two conflict, that agreement takes priority.

Using this website

You may browse this site and use the project brief and contact forms to get in touch with us. Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, submit false information through our forms, or use any automated means to extract content from it beyond what a normal search engine would do.

Not an offer or a quote

The service descriptions, engagement types, timelines and rand bands shown on this site are indicative and provided for information only. They are not an offer to contract, and they are not a quote. A quote or proposal for your project is only binding once we confirm it to you in writing after discussing your requirements.

Intellectual property

The design, text, graphics and other content on this website belong to Emanatio or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages from this site for your own personal or internal business use. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce or republish any part of it without our written permission. This does not affect the ownership of any work delivered to you under a separate client agreement, which that agreement governs.

Third-party links

This site may link to websites we do not operate, including client and case-study websites. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of those sites, and a link does not mean we endorse them.

Limitation of liability

This website and its content are provided as is, without any warranty that it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Emanatio is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this site and how we use it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of South Africa, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated.
